Free parking and great ratios!\n\n\n\n⚡️ Quick Snapshot: Job Essentials\n\n\n\nFacility Type: Acute Care Hospital (Magnet, Teaching, Level II Trauma Center)\n\nTotal Beds: 412\n\nShift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)\n\nMinimum Experience: 2 years (Can screen 1 year) L&D in a similar facility\n\nPatient Ratio: 1:2 (Traveler must be able to manage 2 patients)\n\nCharting System: Cerner\n\nRequired Certifications: BLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced (must include all 11 components), Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)\n\n\n\n✅ Need to Know & Must- Haves\n\n\n\nTravel Experience: NO travel experience required. First-timers are Accepted.\n\nCA License Status: Must be in hand (Pending not accepted).\n\nRTO Restrictions: Only 1 Holiday request allowed; staff will most likely work the holidays.\n\nFloating Expectation: NO clinician float required within scope to meet facility needs.\n\nOn-Call REQ: NO\n\nBlock Schedules: NOT accommodated.\n\nLocals Accepted: Yes (at the same rate—Tier 2 compliance).\n\n\n\n 🏥 Hospital Highlights & Traveler Perks\n\n\n\nGuaranteed Hours: 36 Hours (Client can cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment).\n\nWeekend REQ: 2 weekends every 6 weeks (Night shift weekends can include Fridays).\n\nKey Skills: Experience with Vaginal Exams (assessing station, effacement, dilation), Fetal Monitoring (FSE/IUPC placement), and Baby Care in the delivery room.\n\nScrub Color: No specific colors; no camouflage or character patterns.\n\nParking Cost: Free Parking!
