• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 12, 2026 – End: April 13, 2026)\n
• Healthcare Setting: Infusion Center (17 beds)\n
• Shift: Monday–Friday, Days (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)\n
• Active Wisconsin or Compact State RN License (required at submission)\n
• BLS certification (required)\n
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) and ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certifications (preferred)\n
• Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience (preferred)\n
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations\n
• Travel RN experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)\n
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)\n
• Locals accepted at a lower rate\n
• Latex allergies cannot be accommodated\n

\n\nOncology RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Administer infusions and injections for chemotherapy, blood products, and supportive care treatments\n
• Perform lab draws from ports (central lines) and manage all infusion-related procedures\n
• Monitor patient responses, assess side effects, and provide patient education on oncology treatments\n
• Document nursing care and interventions accurately using Epic EHR system\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory, pharmacy, and social services\n
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure safe biohazard waste disposal\n
• Obtain and record vital signs, patient histories, and allergy information\n
• Deliver compassionate care to oncology and benign hematology patients\n
