Objective of the Role

The Vice President of Finance will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial management of the family office while ensuring operational finance efficiency for the portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will provide leadership in all financial aspects, facilitating sustainable growth and strategic financial planning.

Ideal Profile

The successful candidate will be a Senior Finance Executive with a strong background in hospitality and finance. They will possess extensive experience in accounting, banking relations, and financial reporting, with a track record of managing loans and lines of credit. An understanding of investment banking is also strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial management for the family office and assist with operational finance for portfolio companies in hospitality.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions for loan maintenance and line of credit management.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to direct reports, including two accounting assistants and one bookkeeper.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the overall objectives of the family office and its portfolio.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a finance executive, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Experience in managing banking relationships, loans, and credit lines.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a small finance team.
