Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order picking/packing, and shipping. This role ensures compliance with safety and quality standards while driving efficiency in both high-volume D2C order fulfillment and large-scale palletized shipments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage both people and processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management
• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Manage both e-commerce D2C order fulfillment and palletized wholesale shipments.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accuracy and efficiency.
• Inventory Control:
• Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Monitor stock levels, expiration dates, and product rotations
• Implement best practices to minimize shrinkage, damage, and returns.
• Team Leadership:
• Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse associates.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Schedule and allocate labor to meet peak seasonal and promotional demands.
• Logistics & Shipping:
• Coordinate with carriers, 3PLs, and freight partners for timely shipments.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations for both parcel and LTL/FTL freight.
• Optimize warehouse layout and material handling equipment use for efficient movement of goods.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce warehouse safety standards.
• Train staff on safe lifting, equipment operation, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure all products are stored and shipped in accordance with food & beverage handling regulations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience, preferably in beverage, CPG, or e-commerce fulfillment.
• Strong understanding of D2C order fulfillment and palletized freight shipping.
• Proficiency with WMS/ERP systems and shipping platforms (e.g., ShipStation, Shopify, UPS/FedEx systems).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.

Compensation

• Starting pay is $25/hr
