Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 hourly (based on education level)
Hours of Work: Up to 25 hours weekly between Monday and Thursday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

INTRODUCTION: Human Resources will screen applications and supplemental questionnaires. Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements will be forwarded to the hiring department for further review. Those who possess the strongest skills and experience will be invited by the Hiring Department for an interview.
Note: The successful candidate will be required to pass a drug screening and a background check.
IDEAL CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate has or is working towards a major in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Water Resources, Environmental Science or a related topic.
GENERAL PURPOSE: Support on-going water quality and treatment research activities.
NOTE: The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to this class.
ELIGIBILITY/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Environmental Science/Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
- Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Available to work up to 25 hours weekly
- A valid Nevada driver's license
- Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus
