Job Description
We are currently seeking a friendly, organized and customer service-focused front desk receptionist to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for pet owners and visitors, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, managing reservations for both dog boarding and training, and promoting kennel services. This position blends hospitality, sales, and animal care coordination.
Key Responsibilities
· Greet and welcome clients and their pets upon arrival with warmth and professionalism.
· Answer phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and online inquiries promptly.
· Provide information about services, pricing, and policies.
· Promote dog boarding and training services and add-ons.
· Upsell premium services (e.g., playtime, training, dog food)
· Schedule reservations and manage calendar availability.
· Maintain accurate client and pet records.
· Process payments and issue receipts.
· Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
· Communicate with Pack Coordinators about pet needs and special instructions.
· Maintain a tidy and organized reception area and ensure a welcoming environment.
· Assist with minor pet handling when needed (e.g., leash handoff, gathering dog’s personal effects
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree
· Previous experience in a receptionist and face-to-face customer service role.
· Previous experience in sales
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Professional appearance and demeanor
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
