Overview: Waterway Carwash is searching for enthusiastic Car Wash Detail Specialists to join our team! The Detail Specialist collaborates with our team to deliver exceptional cleaning services for the interior and exterior of customer vehicles. Your role will ensure that every customer departs with satisfaction after a stellar car wash experience. You will also assist customers at various points throughout their visit, including at the entrance and exit of the car wash.

Compensation: Competitive pay with daily cash tips! Average earnings are $15 per hour, with our top performers earning over $20 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
• Professional demeanor, demeanor, behavior, and appearance in line with company policy.
• Ability to perform all essential functions safely, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean customer vehicles to a high standard based on the chosen wash package.
• Greet customers warmly, assist them in and out of their vehicles, and provide clear instructions.
• Drive vehicles onto and off the conveyor while maintaining a keen awareness of surroundings and traffic flow.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment year-round, including picking up trash, sweeping, and performing seasonal tasks like shoveling snow.
• Wash and dry towels, stock cleaning supplies, and clean various areas and equipment as needed.
• Adhere to Waterway policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist with various other tasks as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Environmental: Work outdoors year-round, experiencing all types of weather conditions and environments.
• Physical: Requires periods of extended standing, bending, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and sustained physical effort.
• Vision and Hearing: Must have good visual acuity and hearing to ensure safety and assist customers effectively.
• Language: Fluent in English to communicate with team members and customers.
• Attendance: Maintain a regular, predictable work schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
