Supervisor:
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) is a plus.
Experience : At least six (6) years’ experience in contract administration, specifically with federal government contracts and subcontracts involving all contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Plus Fixed Fee and T&M). In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS) and government contracting principles. Strong background in contract negotiation, administration, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, subcontracts, contract compliance and other corporate legal documents. Strong background in compliance for contracts subject to the Service Contract Act.
Security Clearance: Must be eligible for clearance.
Summary
The contract specialist is responsible for negotiation and administration of contracts, task orders and subsequent amendments consistent with client requirements, government regulations, and procurement policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position will not manage employees.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and standard business software, including MS Office suite and associated tools.

The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
