Job Description
United Ground Express (UGE) is seeking a detail-oriented GSE Parts & Shop Administrator to support GSE shop operations at Denver International Airport (DEN). This role is critical to ensuring all paperwork, work orders, inventory records, and parts data are accurate and current in company preferred automation system while maintaining proper on-hand inventory levels and supporting shop scheduling and administrative functions. The position will also provide administrative support to GSE system as needed, making strong organization and communication skills essential. This role plays a vital part in keeping GSE operations running smoothly at one of the busiest airports in the country. How you will make an impact - Ensure all GSE documentation, work orders, and records are accurate and current in company preferred automation system
- Manage parts ordering, receiving, and inventory control to maintain required par levels
- Track on-hand quantities and reconcile discrepancies in company preferred automation system
- Monitor and assist with shop schedules, including preventative maintenance and repair planning
- Process, review, and enter GSE-related invoices into company preferred automation system
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure timely parts delivery
- Maintain professional relationships with:
- Parts suppliers and logistics companies
- GSE maintenance vendors
- Internal shop and station leadership
- Assist GSE management with inventory audits (periodic and annual)
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to inventory, maintenance activity, and parts usage
- Assist with minor facility or shop administrative tasks as required
- Support station transitions and audits when/where applicable
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
What you will bring: Experience/Competencies - Minimum 1 year of relevant administrative, parts, maintenance, airport operations experience or equivalent
- Demonstrated understanding of airport operations
- Prior experience supporting GSE or maintenance operations preferred
Knowledge/Skills: - Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Fleet Focus or similar inventory/work order systems preferred
- Ability to manage inventory levels and track parts usage effectively
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced airport environment
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Basic technical understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems is a plus
Environment: - On-Site position at Denver International Airport
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
