The Director of Community and Government Relations plays a key role in executing strategies designed by senior leadership to address the needs of the diverse communities we serve. This position focuses on operationalizing community engagement and government advocacy initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Community Relations: Develop and execute a community engagement strategy. Partner with clinical departments to organize community events. Cultivate relationships with key community leaders. Facilitate responses to community concerns and priorities. Government Relations: Assist with the development of an institutional government relations strategy. Maintain communication with stakeholders and trade associations. Conduct policy research and analysis. Develop policy positions on relevant issues. Build relationships with elected representatives and government officials. Collaborate with the communication team on legislative strategies. Identify government grant opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Public Administration or related field preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of community and government relations experience. Skills: Ability to build strategic relationships, superior communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and event planning experience preferred. Compensation: Salary range: $125,000 - $150,000/yr depending on experience. Benefits: PTO, full health/dental insurance, matching 403B.
