From inbound receiving to outbound distribution, your leadership will power reliable manufacturing and exceptional customer service.

This is a pivotal position that aligns supply chain, inventory accuracy, and production planning to deliver results that matter—supporting growth, continuous improvement, and operational success.

What You’ll Do

Warehouse Operations

  • Implement best-in-class SOPs for receiving, storage, staging, and shipping.
  • Maintain an organized, audit-ready environment that meets frozen food safety standards.
  • Ensure timely issuance of raw materials and packaging to keep production running smoothly.
  • Drive cost control and traceability through accurate material accounting.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Optimize outbound transportation and distribution strategies for maximum efficiency.
  • Build strong partnerships with carriers and 3PL providers, negotiating competitive rates.
  • Monitor KPIs like on-time delivery and freight cost per pound, and implement cost-saving initiatives without sacrificing service.

Inventory Control

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Inventory Control team.
  • Implement robust systems to ensure accuracy and minimize shrink.
  • Oversee cycle counts, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Planning to keep inventory aligned with demand.

Production Scheduling

  • Guide the Production Scheduler to create accurate, efficient schedules that meet customer needs.
  • Set clear KPIs and OKRs for planning excellence.

Leadership & Development

  • Inspire and mentor teams across Warehouse, Inventory Control, Logistics, and Scheduling.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive professional growth and succession planning.

Quality & Compliance

  • Champion food safety and regulatory compliance, including SQF, FDA, and USDA standards.
  • Partner with FSQA for audit readiness and HACCP participation.

Budget & Reporting

  • Manage budgets, analyze costs, and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Deliver insightful reports on performance metrics to executive leadership.

Other Key Contributions

  • Lead ERP conversion initiatives.
  • Drive Lean practices and continuous improvement projects.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Expertise in ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Proven success in frozen or temperature-controlled environments.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and food safety regulations.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree or certifications (APICS, CSCMP, Lean Six Sigma).
  • Experience with automation and logistics technology.
  • Track record of cost reduction and OKR-driven performance.

Core Competencies

  • Leadership: Build and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Analytical Thinking: Use data to drive smart decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate challenges and deliver solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work seamlessly across departments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Always striving for better.
