This role is responsible for assisting with the overall cleanliness, organization, and functionality of residential properties. This role involves a combination of manual skills, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving to ensure the property remains in excellent condition and provides a comfortable living environment.  The ideal candidate has the ability to perform a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks and to help with other housekeeping duties as needed.

Location: Can vary, but our main properties are based in Pass Christian, MS and Petal, MS.

Key Responsibilities can include:

• Visit and inspect our different properties and handle any needed repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Fix issues like leaky faucets, broken locks, and minor carpentry tasks.
• Clean and sanitize guest rooms prior to check-ins.
• Organize living spaces, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Document maintenance and repair activities, keeping records up to date.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working.
• Communicate significant issues or recommendations to the property manager.
• Assist in scheduling any third-party maintenance contracts.
• Follow local regulations and cleanliness standards.
• Exhibit good communication skills and work independently.
• Possess basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Demonstrate physical stamina for manual labor and lifting tasks.
• Prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in maintenance and repair work is required. Housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
