We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Residential HVAC Technical Install Manager to join our team. In this hybrid role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all our residential HVAC installations. This position requires an individual with exceptional technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities ranging from quality control to team leadership. While we prefer candidates based in San Diego who can occasionally work in the office, we are open to considering highly qualified candidates from throughout California.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of residential HVAC installations.
• Review all installation jobs to ensure systems are correctly built before installation, including evaluating pre-installation photos.
• Order all necessary materials and equipment for each job.
• Manage tools, parts, and safety equipment for installation teams.
• Interview, hire, and onboard new HVAC technicians and installers.
• Conduct quality control by reviewing post-installation photos to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to installers and service technicians in the field.
• Perform administrative tasks, including documentation, and reporting. 
• Coordinate with support staff for efficient scheduling and install technician optimization.
• Generate reports on installation performance, quality, and efficiency.
• Utilize technology effectively to manage workflow, communicate with the team, and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Five (5) or more years of experience in residential HVAC installations.
• Three (3) years experience in managing the installation of residential HVAC systems. 
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proven experience in hiring, training, and managing HVAC technicians.
• Technical proficiency in installation processes and systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Eligibility to clear background checks and drug screening tests.
• Located in California, with a preference for candidates in San Diego.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role with occasional in-office presence required.
