Job Description

Job Title: Organizational Change Manager

Job Type: Contract , Full Time (expected June 2025 - June 2026)

Location: Hybrid (must be local to Austin, TX), mandatory onsite 4-5 days a week

Working hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Rate: $35 - $43/HR

Our client is seeking an IT Organizational Change Manager Analyst for a period of 1 year. The primary role of the OCMA is to scheudle, plan, and execute project-level change adoption strategies, including the measurement of change readiness and long-term sustainability. The OCMA works closely with PMs, business relation managers, and other technology partners to successfully drive the adoption of new technology. Develops and implements change management plans and all related deliverables. Experience in being a team player in organizational change management process and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of OCM methodologies such as PROSCI which includes development of such deliverables as Stakeholder Analysis, Change Impact Analysis, and Communications Assessments.
  • Provides project teams with coaching and guidance based on industry best practices to improve cross-functional coordination and communication during project execution.
  • Experience on large efforts with Agency-wide impact.
  • Develops content for dissemination to non-technical users. Ability to write and communicate technical changes to users in non-technical terms.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of relationships within ITD and across the agency.
  • Develops and executes communications plans to communicate project work, priorities, and impacts across the agency in an effort to provide transparency into ITD projects.
  • Effective facilitation and influencing skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Other duties as required.

Required Experience:

  • 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Must pass a satisfactory standard criminal background check upon hire.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.
  • Experience working with and reach all levels of employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Organizational Behavior, Communications, or a related field.
  • PROSCI Certification
