As a Security Professional - Government Unarmed Rounds in Soquel, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine inspections, interact with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your responsibilities. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.
• Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by management or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A current Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A current CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
