Temporary Printing and Mailing Services Coordinator

Location: Santa Cruz County, California

ABOUT THIS TEMP POSITION

This is a temporary position and expected to last for 6 months with some flexibility. Must have excellent driving record, as part of the role entails driving the company vehicle to pick up mail at the post office each morning Monday-Friday. Role is expected to be around 32 hours a week with flexibility. The length of the assignment is always dependent on business need and dates may change. While the assignment would be at the Alliance, if selected, you would be an employee of a temporary employment agency that we would connect you with.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Preparing and executing print service requests daily
• Performing daily mailing, shipping, and receiving activities
• Providing back-up coverage for the Receptionist
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of:



• The operation and basic maintenance of printing machines, including large volume printers, folders, inserters, and address printers

• Working knowledge of general office procedures and standard office equipment

• The principles and practices of customer service




• Ability to:

  • Organize tasks, coordinate projects and meet deadlines

  • Learn and utilize office equipment, mail processing equipment, computer systems, and software related to areas of assignment

  • Ability to use general office business machines including multi-line telephone system, photocopy machines, fax machines

  • Ability to learn and apply postal regulations and procedures which affect the Alliance

  
  
  
• Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years of general office or retail experience which included a minimum of one year performing printing services related functions (an Associate's degree may substitute for one year of the non-specialty experience); or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying. Must have a current driver's license.

  
  
  
  

OTHER INFORMATION

• Most teams are in a hybrid work environment, and we anticipate that the interview process will take place remotely via Microsoft Teams. This position will be onsite, interviews via Teams or onsite.
• While some staff may work full telecommuting schedules, attendance at quarterly company-wide events or department meetings will be expected.
• In-office or in-community presence may be required for some positions and is dependent on business need. Details about this can be reviewed during the interview process.

The full compensation range for this position is listed by location below.

The actual compensation for this role will be determined by our compensation philosophy, analysis of the selected candidate's qualifications (direct or transferrable experience related to the position, education or training), as well as other factors (internal equity, market factors, and geographic location).
Santa Cruz County Pay Range $26.41-$27 USD
