What this role is all about:
We are looking for a Warehouse Operator in Jerome, ID. The Warehouse Operator I is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment to accurately ship, process and receive product to meet internal standards and external customer needs.
Starting pay $20.64
$1.50 shift premium for night shift
Double-time on Sunday’s
Mon-Fri 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Operate production equipment including robots, palletizers, and conveyor systems.
Utilize forklift truck and pallet jack to load and unload product shipments as well as delivery supplies.
What you need:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Pallet jack and forklift certification required; in-house training to achieve certification provided.
Minimum one (1) year of experience operating a forklift preferred.
Slip Sheet Unit/ Powerlift Jack operation experience preferred.
Where you’ll be working:
Our Jerome, ID, plant is home to approximately 400 employees and processes approximately 7 million pounds of milk per day. This facility produces various types of cheeses, such as; mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, muenster, parmesan, romano, Monterey jack, gouda, and asiago. They also run various whey streams, such as; deproteinized whey, sweet dairy whey, GMP, permeate, instantized, and our top-rated BiPro products.
