You can expect a dynamic and engaging work environment. You'll also have the chance to observe client interviews and court proceedings, providing insight into practical legal processes.

Your daily schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured and predictable routine. Beyond just paperwork, you will participate in legal training, fostering collaboration and growth. As you dive into diverse legal issues, you'll develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for your future career.

To thrive as a Student Intern at PSLS, you must have a strong commitment to our mission of serving low-income and vulnerable clients and a demonstrated interest in public interest. Current law students or recent graduates should possess a solid foundation in legal principles and research techniques.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are vital for conveying complex legal concepts clearly and effectively. The ability to engage with clients from diverse economic, social, or cultural backgrounds is also preferred, ensuring sensitivity to their unique needs. The knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Understanding of and a commitment to PSLS's mission
• Demonstrated interest in and commitment to the needs of low-income/vulnerable clients
